Many Young Men Hear the Call, but Don’t Have the Means
The cost of a seminary education is formidable – roughly $28,000 a year per seminarian – and encompasses tuition, housing, food, healthcare and many other expenses.
Most of our seminarians come from humble households, including from our missions. They simply don’t have the funds to afford to go to seminary. Their life-long dreams of serving the Lord as priests and Brothers are only possible through our friends – people who feel strongly that the future of our Church is possible only by supporting its growth.

Forming Missionaries After Christ’s Own Heart
As Catholic missionaries, we not only give our seminarians the standard education in philosophy and theology, we also train them for the life of a missionary.
This means sending them to our missions to experience firsthand what it means to serve the needy with the love of Christ, whether that be at our food pantries, mission medical clinics or substance abuse counseling centers.

Our seminarians are in need of medical and dental care. They spend their days in service to the community, learning theology and growing in pastoral care skills. Covering their expenses for healthcare will allow them to focus on growing in the Lord and serving the community’s many needs.
Basic Necessities for Seminarians
Our growing group of seminarians need some of their basic needs met while they study and go through formation. These needs include clothing, food, room and board and tuition for seminary.
