After a little over two months in Haiti, Fathers Frank Conkle, S.T.,  and Jaime Serrano, S.T., have returned for a short rest as well as a time for evaluation and assessment.  Their initial days in Haiti were spent in collaboration with members of the Vincentian Family Haiti Initiative.   Both spent most days learning Kreyol and familiarizing themselves with the Haitian people and culture.

Father Frank hopes to be able to say Mass in the near future. The local pastor as well as some parishioners have extended their help to Father Frank.  All are eager for him to take over pastoral care of one of the chapels in the St. Peter the Apostle parish upon his return.

We ask that you keep Fathers Frank and Jaime and those they serve in your prayers.
