On Saturday, August 12th, 2 p.m. (EST,) at the Shrine St. Joseph in Stirling, New Jersey, Brothers Gustavo Amell and Ramon Flores will profess Perpetual Vows as Missionary Servants. During their lives, each young man will put his own mark on the legacy left us by Father Judge: to live an apostolic – missionary life — in order to spread our Holy Faith to those who are poor and abandoned.
Brothers Gustavo and Ramon made their first profession several years ago, but these were temporary and have been renewed each year since then. Doing so gave them a chance to discern if this is truly where God is calling them. The Perpetual Vows are forever and is one of the final steps they make before being ordained, which is expected to take place next year.
In the meantime, we invite you to visit — Missionary Servants Final Profession of Vows — on August 12th at 2 p.m. (EST.) The ceremony that day will be live-streamed for all to enjoy!
And of course, we ask that you please keep Brothers Gustavo and Ramon in your prayers. These men hold the future of our Church in their hands. With your help, they will bring the love of God to those who need it most. Both are grateful for the continued support of family and friends.
