Mission Partners Meet in Stirling, New Jersey

Pictured here are some of the members of the Mission Partners effort that met on July 14th & 15th, 2017, at the Shrine of St. Joseph. Mission Partners is a partnership of lay and Missionary Servants being formed to offer counsel and advice to the Congregation at the institutional level. This was the second face-to-face meeting, the initial one being held in early March in Atlanta, GA.

The group discussed many topics: it affirmed a working charter and a compelling mission document and formed an Executive Committee, as well as, several other working groups. The group focused on finances, leadership development and succession planning, a compelling vision, and sits spiritual dimension, public relations, technology and future local mission chapter development. Fr. Mike and the Council offered to the group five goals and objectives for the next 3-5 years around fund development, local Mission Partner chapter development, vocational recruitment and spirituality.

Besides the Mission Partner members and Fr. Mike and the General Council, three Missionary Servants who represent the next generation were also invited: Arturo Quezada, S.T., Victor Canela, S.T. and Raphael Pisso, S.T. We continue to ask for your prayerful support of this effort.
